Automaton "Whistling Bird" brass box, the lid from which the bird escapes, decorated with a basket of flowers in a frame of crossed ribboned rushes and garlands of leafy flowers and fleurons. The edge is decorated with children playing with garlands and wreaths of flowers, and the center features a watch. The mechanical movements are hand-wound. The caseback bears the n° 734, Swiss. Late 19th/early 20th century.
Dimensions: 9.5 cm x 6 cm x 3 cm. Good condition.
