Large tripod silver VERSEUSE, pomegranate... - Lot 143 - FW Auction
Large tripod silver VERSEUSE, pomegranate pattern, gadrooned pusher, fluted spout and goat's hoof foot. Handle in blackened wood turned into a baluster. Work of the 18th century. Orleans 1775-1781, hallmark of Jurande letter "N". Height : 27 cm. Weight : 900 g, PB : 1000 g. Later engraving of the wedding coat of arms of Jean PANTIN de LA GUERE (Orléans 1795-Bourges 1871) and Armande de BENGY-PUYVALLEE (Bourges 1806-1887), probably engraved for their marriage in 1826. Mr Jacques de Pas, expert, thanks Mr Evrard van Zuylen, who knew how to identify the coat of arms.
