Spanish flintlock rifle delivered by the house AGIRRE. Flintlock lock the miquelet by "HERMVA" decorated with the line and engraved with vegetable decoration, presence of the cartouche of "YRIGOEN" under royal crown. Barrel by "ZABANDONA" with double registers with sides then round, with decoration of frieze of gilded acanthus leaves in hollow with the junction. It is marked with the silver sheet "SOY DE Dn ALEXANDRO DE ALONSO" and punched on gold bottom with the three flowers of lily, the Cross and cartridges of the gunner under crown and cartridge with the lion. Tail of breech chiselled with floral decoration. It is enriched of niellage of silver with decoration of vegetable interlaces. Tailstock chased. Sight in brass framed of a silver oval levelling. All iron fittings. Long curved trigger guard bearing the hallmark of the house "AGUIRRE" in a cartouche framed with chiselled rocaille decoration, counterplate in suite. The buttplate has a door to accommodate a bayonet (seized). Soberly chiseled walnut stock (accident and restoration). Rod in fanon and horn emboit. Oxidation to note. Nice Spanish work of the end of the 18th century, beginning of the 19th century.
