Rare esponton of 2nd or 3rd flag bearer to the 1809 regulations. Socket mounted medial edge bolt-action iron flanked by an axe and beak. Long braces. The hexagonal shaft shows traces of saber strokes as well as the marks of the nails fixing the pennant which was red or white. Two veteran soldiers had to flank the first eagle bearer, with the title of 2nd and 3rd eagle bearer.
