PARIS AFTER SEVRES. Six plates from King Louis-Philippe's hunting service for the Château de Fontainebleau. Sèvres 1846. Service ordered in 1835 and delivered from 1839 to 1841, many pieces were delivered later for restocking. The decoration was designed by Jean-Charles LELOY (1774-1846). This decoration represents a star flanked by gold scrolls in the centre, and a polychrome decoration comprising four cartouches with hunting trophy motifs framed with scrolls and hunting animals (dogs, birds, hinds, deer), interspersed with a diamond shape with crowned King's figures. Marks at the back of Sèvres 1846, and the castle of Fontainebleau. Diameter: 23,5 cm
